Lydia put a finger to her chin in thought as she heard the report coming in from her right hand officer. Things were not looking well, not at all. When it rains it pours... Lydia thought drearily with a light shake of her head.
"I'm afraid we are unable to transport at the moment given the circumstance commander, however in the meantime I'll alert sickbay to stand by to receive causalities once we're out. For now, you better break out the elbow grease and improvise. Once we have the crew aboard I'll take the Magnolia in tow with the tractor beam. Prince out."
Lydia felt like slumping down in her chair, but she didn't dare. Later on though she'd need some alone time. Tapping her badge she did as she said; alerted sickbay.
"Prince to sickbay, prepare to receive wounded in about nine minutes."
Prayerfully that will be the maximum time.

What a day for your very first on a new ship. It appeared just one disaster after another, well except for the few good reports that came in the bridge from one of the engineers. Faith hadn't suspected things to be this way on the first outing, but they were and they was not going to change.
"The shuttle has come with in ten thousand kilometers captain." Faith announced as she looked at the readings in front of her. "Holding our position steady." But ready to move at any given moment. Faith added in thought hoping things would not get any worse. If they did she'd just have to key in the off switch on her Betazoid abilities.

Good. So they could still move on their own, that was some ray of light. One Lydia was rather grateful for. "Acknowledged."
Lydia then heard the young woman at the helm speak up just about the same time her little monitor flashed and sent off a tiny beep. "Very good lieutenant." Lydia said turning her attention to the screen. She tapped a few buttons and saw that it was incoming data from the science lab.
She gave a understanding nod as if the officers had been right in front of her. After her eyes scanned the contents she sent the information to OPS, Tactical, as well as Helm just in case.
"Keep an eye on that shuttle of ours, and prepare to lock the tractor on just in case." The tension on the bridge seemed quite high. So high you might cut it with a knife.
I'll be so glad when this is through.

Faith noticed some new data appear on her console. It was some science stuff. Quickly scanning it Faith turned her attention to what was still going on with the shuttle and with the Klingon vessel they were trying to save. She looked out at the view screen wondering what order the captain would give next as Faith took note that they were almost free.
"Captain, I'm picking up some sort of fluctuations in the Klingon vessels warp core." Faith stated when the alert came on screen. "Whatever they do over there they better hurry. If we get caught in that wake we'll end up waiting some odd number thousand of years before we're found again."

Lydia perked up on that instantly. More danger? How could that be?! Perhaps being stuck so long is what made the Klingon vessel start to go. Of course Captain Prince already knew that it would eventually because Sharpay had informed of that before, but it had not been an immediate concern at that particular time.
"Raise the shuttle, and inform them. Ready the tractor just in case."
"Channel open."
"Captain Prince to shuttle craft, our sensor just picked up some sort of fluctuations in the Klingon vessels warp core. Be prepared for a quick beam out if you can't act fast enough. Prince out."
Lydia swiftly tapped her combadge. "Prince to transporter room, get a lock on the bio-signs in the shuttle as well as ones on the Klingon vessel. Be prepared to transport the lot of them."
Sure they didn't transport large amounts of people, but they could and this was an emergency.
Tapping her badge again Lydia gave another order. "Security report to the transporter room."

"Already have that covered Ensign, but thank you none the less." Lydia replied to Ensign Harper as she glanced at her OPS officer to download the copy of the treaty from the ships database. That was the only thing Lydia hadn't thought of regarding the Klingon situation. She was pleased to hear the comm of the transporter chief. "Good. Give them three minutes, three exactly then grab them."
Captain Prince stood up. She now had a lot more confidence than she did before. She looked down towards helm. "Lieutenant, carefully take us in just a little closer as to make sure each and everyone gets beamed aboard."

A little closer? She wants to get a little closer? "Moving in for the kill..." Faith announced as she watched the readings on her console as she tapped a few of the controls to get 'a little closer' and hoping her words 'in for the kill' would not be taken literally with the anomaly.
"Not to break this wonderful tension we have going for us, but where exactly do you plan to keep the Klingons, captain?"

"Good job." Captain Prince replied to her transporter chief via combadge. "Lock onto the shuttle, and pull it into the bay then get us out of here." Lydia's stomach suddenly got a few butterflies. Getting out was going to be a lot harder than getting in, and she was sure everyone knew that.
If they didn't get out soon they were libel to get stuck here. That would not be a very good thing at all. There was also the other part of her crew that had been on the other ship, and although her commander was sure to have everything under control Lydia was still eager to pick them up.
Suddenly the Klingon ship exploded causing a shock wave. This was going to be cutting it close.
"Raise the shields as soon as you have the craft!" Better get them soon!
