Lt. Mishtak entered, flanked by two other Security officers, he inspected the shuttle from a distance as he walked over to the attendant.
"Crewman, I am signing out this shuttle craft, it needs to be adjusted by Ensign Harper, prepare a crew to assist her when she arrives."

"Okay, okay, let's get going!" Sharpay shouted a bit out of breath as she ran into the shuttle bay. She had come to a stop before a type two shuttle craft. They just needed a very basic shuttle for this outing, and it wouldn't be cramped either because She and Mishtak were the only ones going.
Sharpay hastily walked inside the shuttle. She got to her knees and opened the kit. Pulling out a hyperspanner she said; "Time's flying people. One of you adjust the field emitters, someone else hop to the inertial dampeners, and another get with the thrusters."
The very few officers in the bay just exchanged glances then split up doing as they had been instructed by the young blonde ensign.
"How good are you at working with tractor beams?" Sharpay inquired of Mishtak as she laid underneath the main console in the shuttle prepping it. They had some rewiring to do, and Sharpay had to somehow quickly become a 'miracle worker'.

he stepped into the shuttle and began running a systems check, assisting Sharpay from the terminal while she did her voodoo on the shuttle, this seemed like a long shot to him, but it was worth a shot...
calling out to the security officers that had come with him...
"Security, inform Cmdr. Krymerik zh'Loran of the situation, and alert all security details to double man the transporter rooms, if my Klingon brothers are as old as we think, then they will most likely react with hostility, and I will not be able to settle the situation until I return with the Ensign."
he then went back to work as the security officers did as instructed, sending a comm to the commander alerting her of the situation as well as ordering an all hands alert to the security teams...

"Well, I didn't think you were in that uniform because of halloween, lieutenant." Sharpay commented with a light chuckle right behind. "And I didn't mean any disrespect either."
Too bad he's not in the engineering department...we could have a ball.
Sharpay had kinda blocked out all noise and talk unless it had been directed at her. She began mumbling, well actually talking to herself while she continued to quickly work with Lt. Mishtak.
"Oh, don't do this to me, please!" Came a shout from under the console as the shuttle powered down. All lights in it going off. "Oh, perfect." Sharpay muttered.
She got out from under the console, bumping her head in the process. Ow. She rubbed her forehead as she crawled around the floor looking for her engineering kit, not to mention a flashlight. "Can someone fetch me a new power relay?" Sharpay said releasing a sigh as she finally found a flashlight.

A loud grumble, and possibly several growls came from inside the shuttle just before Mishtak exited the craft...
"Ensign, what did you do? I thought we were getting this thing modified to work better, not shutting it down... repeatedly."
he attempted to smile as he spoke, knowing it would be lost in the darkness as he switched on his flashlight...
"I do not suppose we could try this again, with the lights on perhaps?"
hearing the captains inquiry of their status he tapped his comm badge and responded:
"we seem to be expieriencing some minor technical difficulties captain, I assure you the Ensign will have things in order momentarily."

Sharpay put a hand over her mouth to muffle her laughter as Lt. Mishtak spoke and replied to the captain. Sometimes you just have to laugh things off, if you don't, well one might end up being very uptight and in a bad mood for a long time if not the rest of their life. After all, you attract more flys with honey than with vinegar.
"Hold your horses, I can't do anything until I have a new power relay." Sharpay whispered.
Sharpay sat on her knees. "Yes, no need to worry, Captain. It's just a burnt out power relay. We'll be up and running again in no time." Sharpay added after Mishtak's response to the captain, sounding very assured in the process.
She then tapped her badge again to have an engineer beam a new power relay to the shuttle bay since she didn't expect that the crew member would have time to bring it here personally.
Getting to her feet, Sharpay walked out of the shuttle just in time to see the shimmering blue light of the transporter beam transporting a new relay onto the main console in the bay.
"Thank you." She jogged out and got it then came straight back to the shuttle, and gently slapping Lt. Mishtak on the left shoulder. "See? Got the part. You needn't have worried." Sharpay said in a bit joking manner.
Quickly getting the tools she needed, Sharpay slide back under the console inserting the new power relay. 1, 2, 3... "Viola!" The lights and the rest of the power came back on just about instantly. "There ya go. Now if the officers I sent about prior have finished we should be good to go."

"See, I knew you'd get us back on track quickly."
He smiled as he said this, unfortunately being Klingon it looked more like a scowl... but he hoped it conveyed his respect for the young ensign.
"now if there are no more delays, lets go save some life forms..."
he re-entered the shuttle and began running systems check and start up procedures while the ensign finished her work... working together like this should cut their prep time in half and still give them adequate time for their rescue mission...

"Save some lifeforms? I thought we were going to save other Klingons and their vessel." Sharpay lightly shrugged as she packed up the tools and took a seat. "But if you insist..." Sharpay grinned as she sent the bridge a message they were ready to go. "Lifeforms...we're off to save some lifeforms...save some lifeforms from certain death, dum duh dum duh dum..." Sharpay sang aloud as she did the pre-flight sequence.

Sharpay looked at Lt. Mishtak when he laughed. "Too silly?" She questioned with a grin as her fingers danced over the panel in front of her. "Well, how about Gav'ot toh'va?"
Sharpay didn't much let anyone in on the facts that she could read, write, speak Klingon, nor the fact that she enjoyed and had her own personal Klingon calisthenics program. The only person to know about the program had been Lieutenant Willsun as she had let him participate in the holodeck.
"Are we ready to get underway? We do not have much time left."
"That we are. We've just been given clearance to launch. So, let's fly!"
Sharpay watched as the bay door opened. "Ready...set...get ready for a boring speed."
The shuttle launched and Sharpay piloted it in the direction they were supposed to go. The further they got out the more bumpy the ride began to get. "Good thing I didn't have lunch yet." Sharpay muttered. "Please let me know when we within ten thousand kilometers."

The Transporter chief executed his duty with a flawless perfection and the Shuttle containing Sharpay and Mishtak materialized inside the Shuttle bay...
"Back the same day Ensign..."
he taps his comm badge
"Mishtak to Captain Prince, Harper and I have been transported safely back on board, Mishtak out."
turning back to Sharpay
"well Harper, looks like your portion of the excitement is over, I hope to see you for morning excercise soon."
he began exiting the shuttle, making his way out into the shuttle bay...

Once fully beamed aboard Sharpay quickly let go of Mishtak's hand. Transport didn't exactly happen the way she had expected, but at least they were back on board the Orion. Mishtak had reported them back. All's well that ends well, but it ain't ended yet...
"Well Harper, looks like your portion of the excitement is over, I hope to see you for morning exercise soon."
"Hardly sir, I've still got a ship to take care of, especially with the shock wave coming up. However I'll take you up on that exercise. It could be interesting." Sharpay said a bit hurriedly, but with a smile as she took a swift leave for engineering.
That little venture had been interesting, and depending on a persons point a view possibly a little fun. They got their job done, but it was still far from over. Sharpay suspected Lt. Mishtak would be heading for the transporter room, which would be a good idea.
After this was over though they all could use some serious down time.
