The return of Voyager was just the beginning. 13 years later the Federation and its technology improved. After Voyager came home Starfleet went over the data they had and improved upon their technology. Now after those 13 years the Federation has decided to send another ship back to the Delta Quadrant to gather more information and map out regions that Voyager did not get to. Their mission also includes a way to make communication and a stable gateway from the Alpha Quadrant to the Delta Quadrant for the Federation and other Starfleet vessels. Will they succeed? What will happen on this voyage? Join the crew of the USS Orion to find out.

The plot/mission is this:

The Color Red
Stardate: 65079

After the USS Orion finishes the mission Trapped they get orders to escort a freighter to a planet. The reason the Orion was ordered to escort the freighter is:

1) because they are headed in the same direction and

2) the cargo is valuable to the Federation and the people on this planet.

One day Starfleet would like too add to the United Federation of Planets. But right now maintaining peace between this planet and the neighboring one has become a problem.

Unprovoked attacks have started to break out. The species are so similar looking it is difficult to tell them apart other than by technology and a DNA scan.

Some of the crew are to beam down to make certain nothing happens to the people or the cargo they are transporting, which just happen to be mostly food, medical supplies, and a few engineering tools.

Everything is mainly routine. That is until something unusual happens after an attack on the main city and its power plant. As always nothing is ever as it seems and new truth is uncovered, but what is it?


We will have an away team that the captain will choose to go down, and work while very few others will be aloud leave, however I do need some people on the ship so unfortunately all of you can not go down to the planet for leave.

I will post a list later when we are more towards the end of our current plot of those that will be assigned to the away team.
