[Elise Triad]

Elise rubbed the bridge of her nose looking around the corridor. She had been on her way to the bridge when she passed a small number of crew members playing what looked like tic-tac-toe in the corridor, looked to be game six. Elise was almost dumbfounded at what she had seen the crew doing in the ships corridors.

It was just before she got to the turbolift. When another crew member ran up behind her and into turbolift in front of her yelling out for deck 8 the doors closing soon after.

Ryanna had been one of the officers that had gotten to chart the planet of which they had gathered the new foods. She had also helped in naming the unnamed planet, New Eden. When she was finished with all her duties Ryanna was also one of the first people to try a fruit salad made from the planet. It sure had been tasty. Though halfway through she had felt fidgety and more energetic. She had also changed clothes.

Dressed in a T-shirt and ripped blue jeans, hair in pigtails, Ryanna had began wandering the halls again. She then spotted someone she hadn't met yet, and skipped right up to her. She held out the chocolate bar that she had acquired from one of the replicators and smiled. "Hi!" She said cheerily. "I'm Ryanna, want some chocolate?"

Elise turned to look at Ryanna looking her up and down some “Chocolate? Not right now.” Elise smiled to herself some remembering who she was talking with. “Lieutenant Ryanna Denali. You had been on New Eden. How was it?”

T-shirt blue jeans? Elise thought to herself trying to peace things together I really need to stop napping on my shift.

"No chocolate? Okay." Ryanna said quite simply, retracting the chocolate bar and taking a bite of it. The person before her asked about the planet New Eden. "Well," Ry started with a mouth full of chocolate. She finished chewing then swallowed. "Um," She licked her lips childishly as she thought.

"I didn't go down. I work in Astrometrics!" She informed happily. "You can see allllllllll the pretty stars and planets on that huugggee screeeen!" Ryanna stated, now enthusiastically, as she stretched out her hands and arms to try and emphasize just how large the screen was. "Our friends brought back some food from that place, you know? It's yummy!"

Ryanna pulled a marker out her pocket, and started to draw a couple of lines on the wall.

"Wanna play a game?"

It can‘t be the food. That would have been tested before it was given to the crew.

“Astrometrics” Elise said with a nod to Ryanna “I can play some. I have not tried any of the food from planet” Elise looked on letting her make the first move.

I will not be the one cleaning all this off the walls. Elise smiles to herself I’ll just say it was Anna

"The food is really, really yummy!" Ryanna remarked after the tic tac toe board was set up on the wall. "Like, um, candy. Really yummy." She then looked to Elise, and handed her the marker. "You can go first because I got to draw the sign." Ry said with a nod of the head.

Elise looked over the game board some then make an X in the top left space. “When did you change out of uniform and into clothes?” Elise asked handing the marker back. I need to find out what is doing this. If it is from the planet of something else. I hope it‘s not the food, I really wanted to try some.

Elsie looked around the corridor a moment then back to Ryanna. T-shirt and ripped blue jeans. Elise really could not judge people on what they found comfortable when not in uniform.

Accepting the marker, Ryanna looked at the game. She took the X. I wanted to be the X. Ryanna thought as she looked at the board a little longer. She was trying to decide where to put her O when she was asked a question. A question about when she changed clothes. "Hmmm..." Ry 'hummed' aloud. She started twisting some hair around her finger, before lifting it above her upper lip, making it look like she had a mustache. "Well..."

"After my lunch." Ry said in a deep voice, trying to imitate a mans voice due to her new 'facial hair'.

She then made an O in the bottom right corner; filling in the O she put two dots for eyes, and drew in a smile. "Your turn." She said as she handed Elsie the marker. "How come you wanted to know when I changed clothes?" Ryanna asked now in her regular voice. "Was I not suppose to?"

Elise took the marker once more “No, nothing like that. Have you noticed that other crew members are acting a bit off?” Elise put her next X on the bottom middle next to the smiley face and held the marker out for Ryanna. “Also if you really want your voice to sound deeper it helps in you constrict your larynx”

Elise breathed in deep and then spoke in a deep raspy voice that sounded like a grizzled old soldier “It also helps if you listen to the voice you would like to copy and practice. If you get real good you can even get people to think you are someone else all together” Elise cleared her throat some then back in her own voice with a slight smile “General Tyronian would kill me if he knew I could sound like him.”

“No, nothing like that. Have you noticed that other crew members are acting a bit off?”

"A bit off?" Ryanna echoed. Were people acting different? She thought on the question more as she took the marker and drew in a smiley face like before; putting it in the top right hand corner. "No." Ryanna finally replied to the question.

She then looked right at Elise and blinked once. "What's a larynx?" The food from New Eden had taken her mind completely back in time. Ryanna didn't even remember hearing the word before. "It sounds funny."

“It’s your voice box.” Elise told her looking at her “Can you tell me what you had been doing before you had the fruit salad?”

It’s the food. I know it. Just when I get to have me a fancy new space apple.

"Uh..." Ryanna bit her bottom lips as her face screwed into a look of concentration. What had she been doing? "Well..." She said still trying to remember. She looked up at Elise. "Is it important for you to know?" She asked in a whisper as she started to rub one foot up and down the back of the other.

“No, it’s not important” Elise looked to the game that neither had added to yet. if what I’ve seen up till now is any indication then I would put best guess at 50% of the crew. Maybe more Elise sighed.

“It’s your move” Elise smiles holding out the marker. can‘t seem to remember anything before eating the food. I wonder if they will remember anything from now

Ryanna nodded her head. At least she was not in trouble. "What do you want to do when the game is finished?" Ryanna asked with curiosity. "We could go to the holodeck!" She suggested enthusiastically. "Like, um, maybe make a roller coaster?!"

"Oh, yeah." Ryanna made her mark in the bottom middle place. "Now it's yours!" She stated brightly.

“After this I should head to the bridge.” Elise took the marker in hand and made her mark in the top right space. “Roller coaster?” Elise stopped and looked at Ryanna “There was an old amusement park only a few hours from my home on earth. It had some roller coaster. It can be quite fun”
