Krymerik entered after being dismissed on the Bridge and checked to be sure her workplace was in working order. She spoke with her underlings, updating them on what was happening and told them to expect a command referring heavily to altering photon torpedo's.
She sought for her second in command and found him in her office, going over reports. He stood to attention as he noticed her and she nodded, "At ease," she said, "Anything interesting?" she asked, watching him relax and move so she could see them too.
"Our shields have taken a beating, Ma'am..."
"I prefer 'Sir," she said, mindlessly interrupting him as she peered over what he had been previously reading. So far, she was satisfied he was a competent individual.
"Sir," he self corrected, "But the Orion still has her defenses weapons wise,"
"Good. We should keep an eye out for any hostile threat in the area. No doubt Helm will have a hold on it, but let's not be underestimated,"
"Aye Sir, I'll get a man on it," he replied and she smiled. She rarely showed emotion unless it was befitting of the situation.
He left, leaving her to continue reading.
