History/Background/Education
Faith Ackron was born on a Federation shuttle craft. Her Human father and Batazed mother were being flown back to Batazed by her Aunt Alice Ackron after a family visit. Thankfully Alice happened to assist in the medical profession, and was able to help her sister-in-law when she went into labor. The shuttle arrived on Batazed the minute she bore her little girl. During the flight there Ryan Ackron kept saying have faith to his wife so that is what they decided to name their little girl.
As the years passed Faith became more and more curious about the world around her. Both her parents being school teachers was in some way a help, but they also made her work a little harder. Faith had always been fascinated with the things she’d read in her science class and experiments as well as history. In those classes she’d learn about the heavens, cultures, and engineering. Faith became more starry-eyed each time.
When Faith was five, her parents had gotten her a telescope. She got great use out of that growing up. When she turned ten her Uncle Cal Jorad came to take Faith away for a weekend so her parents could have some alone time. Her Uncle Cal was her mothers’ brother who was in Starfleet who just happened to be on shore leave. During their time together Cal showed Faith around the nearest Starfleet station, and also told her about some of the things he had learned in the academy. Faith’s interest was sparked more than ever with that time spent with her uncle.
As the years went on Faith decided that she wanted to be a member of Starfleet. Her parents didn’t exactly disapprove nor disapprove. They, like all parents wanted what was best for their child. So, when Faith came of age they let her go. While at the academy she’d talk with her aunt and uncle who were in Starfleet. They were a great help an inspiration to her. Every weekend she’d call her parents and let them know how she was doing and excelling. At first she hadn’t any idea what she wanted to do.
Faith had been torn between planetary science and engineering at first, but eventually got really into flight the more she studied the subject and got to have hands on experience. The feeling was powerful and exhilarating so that’s what she ended up choosing. She minored in science of course.
Soon she graduated, not the top of her class, but not the bottom either. She was quite pleased with herself and during her time there had gotten the nickname lead foot because of her tendency to fly a little too fast.
Her first posting was that of lugging Federation supplies around through space. Not thrilling, but she didn’t complain. Later she was assigned to a scout vessel, then, as time went on she went onto a different ship. When the Nighthawk came around Starfleet decided to station her there since she became a pretty skilled pilot, however due to her fast and occasionally fancy flying they did not make her head helmsman. Faith was a little disappointed, but not totally surprised.
It does not need to be super long or very complex.
Personality Profile:
Somewhat carefree, and light hearted, Faith doesn’t seem or act like she has a care in the world. She is rather a free spirit and has always been so. She’s kind, curious, but also at times a little headstrong. Faith loves life to the fullest, and is a friendly sort that if you give her an opening will become a real chatter box.
So, you might be thinking why is this girl a pilot and not in the medical department? Well, despite her compassion for people Faith has also been much more of an explorer at heart, and has always wanted to soar past the wild blue yonder to find out what exactly is beyond home.
Other Personal Details:
Gets a little woozy at the sight of too much blood.
Any Special Notes:
Being only half Betazoid Faith can not fully read people minds, but she can shut off her abilities of sensing strong emotions if they become too painful to take in. Respecting peoples privacy she does her best not to read others emotions if she can help it.
When it comes to flying Faith can be a tad reckless and or careless, especially if she starts to have a little too much fun with the job. She’s always up to try something new as that is how one learns things.
Faith loves all animals, especially birds and rabbits.
She also prefers cooked food to replicated, and is allergic to daffodils. She enjoys swimming and serene settings.
*Note; Deanna Troi could shut off her abilities to sense strong emotions. It was demonstrated in a TNG episode.

This is from a post on another site.
Faith came skipping down the corridor in a light pink summer dress that had thin straps and white lace at the bottom that just touched her knees. The white lace also wrapped around the middle of her dress, making two strings tie into a nice bow in the back. Her shoes were also white, matching the lace of her dress.
She looked rather like a young girl in her appearance. The reason she wasn’t in uniform was because, well quite frankly she had rushed here for the fact that her alarm had forgotten to go off so Faith hadn’t woken up on time, so she didn’t have time for anything except to pick up her bags and take off. It didn’t exactly bother her, well not too much. The ride here had been quite fun!
Rounding a corner Faith came skipping into the mess hall doors. Not looking where she was going she had bumped into an officer causing him to spill his drink and meal all over his uniform and floor. Faith’s eyes widened and she smiled sheepishly. Whoops…
“I’m so sorry,” Faith apologized as she tried to wipe the liquid and meal off with her hands only to end up making it worse. “I didn’t mean-golly gee…”
“Please, just…stop!” The officer exclaimed frustrated and a bit angrily. “Why don’t you just watch where you’re going?!”
Faith took a step back and shrugged. “Perhaps I have attention defecate disorder? Or I just leapt without thinking…” She then folded her arms an arched an eyebrow. “Say, how do you know I’m not blind and just getting used to the implants? How rude.”
The officer picked up his plate and cup from the floor. “I wouldn’t, but somehow-oh, have a nice day!” The officer then quickly left the mess hall after putting the plate and cup on the table.
“Must be a sensitive fellow.” Faith commented to herself as she watched him leave.
Just about all eyes had been on her and the other officer since she bumped into him, and although he was gone they all just continued to gawk. “Okay then…”
