Captain Prince rematerialized in the town square with the supplies. The place was filled with life, venders selling things like fabrics, jewelry, foods, and other things.
It was hard to believe they were being attacked because the planet looked so clean. Sun, blue skys, a few mountains in the distance, as well as a few large industrial looking buildings; of course the building were closer to the square then the look of the mountains.
Lydia wasn't exactly expecting the place to look like so. She had imagined seeing cities like the ancient ruins of Greece.
"Ah, Mister Vhat." Should have known he'd be prompt...
"Captain Prince." Vhat kissed her on the hand. "Shall we be on our way?"
Lydia pulled her hand out of his gripe, and held up her index finger.
"After my people and yours have secured these containers, not before. They should be down soon. No rush you know."

Mishtak, in all his Klingon glory, rematerialized on the other side of the containers from the Captain, he also so Vhat standing there with her, he forced himself to swallow the growl as he stepped over to them.
"Captain, security and the rest of the away team are preparing to join us shortly."
as he stood there he looked over Vhat, trying not to be intimidating he knew he was failing as he towered there in his Klingon uniform
"I apologize for my attire, the away team will be bringing me a suitable change of uniforms."
He smirked to himself as he thought of how he must look to these people, they were expecting starfleet not the empire after all...

"Understood." Captain Prince replied to Mishtak. She extended her arm towards Mishtak, to bring him up to Vhat for face to face introduction. "Lieutenant Mishtak, you remember Mister Vhat." Lydia smiled. "Mister Vhat, this is Lieutenant Mishtak, one of my many capable security officers."
"Lieutenant Mishtak, very nice to meet you." Vhat said with a slick smile as he held out his right hand in Human greeting. "Feel free to take advantage of our hospitality, and I'm sure we'll be good friends."
A young lady dressed in the same flamboyant type clothing of Vhat and every other Matalian on the planet came up and gave Lieutenant Mishtak a kiss on the cheek after a look she got from Vhat. She then slipped an arm around Mishtak's, and smiled. "Hi there." The young lady said sweetly with a quick wink.
Lydia was quite surprised at what had transpired. Quite a distraction I must say. I thought they were at war... "Quite a welcome." Captain Prince commented as she looked at the young Matalian female who, like all the other females was wrapped tight and tied loose, not to mention showing lots of skin.
"I thought your planet wouldn't exactly have the time for such play considering the fact you're said to be at war."
"Just because we are at war is no reason to be inhospitable or neglect beauty. This beautiful young lady is Vidia. She's to be your guide while on our planet lieutenant." Vhat said. "Anything you need she's at your disposal."
No need to ask what kind of salesman Vhat would be... The word snake came to mind shortly after.
The officers and others secured the supplies.

"Lieutenant Mishtak, very nice to meet you." Vhat said with a slick smile as he held out his right hand in Human greeting. "Feel free to take advantage of our hospitality, and I'm sure we'll be good friends."
Mishtak took Vhat's hand and shook it as humans do, though forgetting his strength he may have squeezed a bit hard...
"I'm certain I will enjoy this visit."
he let go of Vhat's hand, feeling as though he had just touched something disgusting...
"Hi there."
Mishtak resisted the urge to growl at the woman as she kissed him, after all he was Klingon and she was not his mate. But, he did not want to be rude to their hosts either... he gave the Captain a look as if to ask for permission to remove the woman from his arm, when he got no sign that he registered as allowing him to harm them, he simply allowed her to stand there holding his arm...
"Just because we are at war is no reason to be inhospitable or neglect beauty. This beautiful young lady is Vidia. She's to be your guide while on our planet lieutenant." Vhat said. "Anything you need she's at your disposal."
"Thank you Mr. Vhat, a guide would be most welcome."
turning to look at the strumpet that so eagerly attached herself to his arm as the next wave of crewman rematerialized and he spotted the one with his starfleet uniform...
"Miss Vidia is it? I will require quarters in which to change uniforms, are you able to assist with that?"
he was starting to thing that being in his Klingon uniform might come in handy if something should happen to go wrong here, but decided that starfleet regulations would win out and he needed to change his uniform... he really should have done it before leaving the Orion, but with the captain rushing off in such a hurry he hadn't had the time to prepare properly. A crewman walked over, handed Mishtak his uniform and departed with the supplies as Mishtak stood there with his guide, the Captain and Vhat...

"Of course." Vidia led Mishtak opposite direction of Vhat and Captain Prince. "Don't get too distracted lieutenant." Captain Prince instructed in an orderly way as Vidia led her Assistant Chief of Tactical and security to the other side of the town square where there stood an orange color small looking building. Inside she went leading the way up a flight of stairs to a large oval yellow door. "Right through there." Vidia directed Mishtak.
Turning now to face Vhat Lydia held her hands behind her back. "Well Mister Vhat, if it wouldn't be too much trouble how about we get started on that tour?" Lydia then added; "Hands free." She held up a hand then made a gesture for him to lead the way.
The tour was not exactly the most fascinating Lydia had ever been on, but definitely the most distracting. Ever time she'd question about the war and their power supply she never got a straight answer; it was quite frustrating. Perhaps Mishtak is having more success... Lydia thought as Vhat left her side telling her to stay put after getting called away by one of his people on a 'important matter'. As he was gone something caught Lydia's eye; an alley that was supposedly vacant, nothing but the cities disposal system as told by Mr. Vhat; Well, some one in a cloak seemed to come out of the wall.
Vhat not being back yet Captain Prince decided to take a scarf that was offered to her earlier then quietly, carefully, and discreetly go in that direction. On the way she'd stop and look at items pretending she was interested in them until she got far enough away. Something told her she might find the answer to a question she had about their power supply and the dark matter thing in space here.
Captain Prince looked for something hidden; anything. As she ran her hand along the side of the wall the stone pavement opened under her and she plunged straight down, not knowing where her destination lay. One thing was left behind on the street and that was the sheer emerald green scarf that had been wrapped around her head and neck.
End Lydia.

"of course Captain."
Mishtak followed Vidia into the orange building, up the stairs and to the yellow door.
"Thank you kindly, I shall be out in a moment."
he entered and closed the door behind him. Setting his comm badge down he began removing his Klingon uniform, coat, armor, fur, leather and boots. He then put on his starfleet uniform, pulled his honor sash over his shoulder, tucked his knife into the hidden sheath, attached his tactical belt and holstered his tricorder and hand phaser. He then put his comm badge back on his chest in time to hear Commander Hughes report of not hearing from the captain. He tapped his Comm badge.
"Mishtak to Orion, the Captain was in the center of town a few moments ago, I will be heading back there shortly."
Mishtak then exited the room...
"Miss Vidia, we must return to the drop point, I must speak with my Captain."
he then began heading out of the building on his own...

Vidia quickly caught up to Lt. Mishtak. "Why must you speak with you captain?" Vidia inquired of Mishtak. "I'm sure she and Vhat are just discussing business, must you interrupt them?" Vidia didn't have a real clue as to what was going on. All she knew was that she was supposed to be a guide as well as a distraction. Vidia looked Lieutenant Mishtak up and down some. "My, you do look handsome in that uniform."

"The ship is unable to contact her, I simply need to know where she is at present."
Mishtak made his way back to the beam down location... he tapped his comm badge
"Mishtak to Orion, the Captain is no longer here, use scanners to locate her life signs and report back."
he then began asking around through the away team members who were redistributing the supplies if they knew where she went... one of them handed him a scarf he found that looked like the one the captain had been giving earlier, he pointed towards the alley near where it had been found. Mishtak turned to Vidia
"I wish to speak with Mr. Vhat at once, If the Captain is with him all will be well. If she is not then I will personally tear this planet apart to find her, Am I understood?"
he did not wait for her answer, he was fairly certain he had just scared the cute out of her. and he headed towards the alley to investigate by looking for anything strange or out of the ordinary.

"I'm sorry, but I'm not aloud to disturb him." Vidia spoke up gently. "What about Federation rules? You can't just go off and 'tear this planet apart'." Vidia stood next to the wall in the alley. "Perhaps we can find something better for your hands to do," Vidia bravely reached out and took hold of and looked over one of Mishtak's hands. "Such strong hands...you know we have a match building here which I think you might like..." Vidia looked back up and smiled. "Come on lets go." She said as she tried to lead Mishtak away.

She was right of course, he couldn't just tear the planet apart looking for the Captain, at least not without probable cause... and this match building sounded interesting, he was well aware that everything about this place was designed to be aesthetically pleasing to most persons and races, however as a Klingon he found very few things here to be... tolerable. Mishtak once again tapped his Comm Badge:
"Lt. Mishtak to Captain Prince, do you copy Captain?"
no answer, just the sound of dead air, he picked up the faintest sound in the silence of the open channel and knew it to be some form of dampening field, he assumed that Mr. Vhat was showing the Captain something related to this supposed war being waged against these people.
"Vidia"
he said pulling his hand back
"Do you know what your Mr. Vhat is giving the Captain a tour of at the moment? Is there anything in this town that would interfere with our communications?"
he decided to try and be diplomatic for the moment, but if the answers he got were not satisfactory he would, without hesitation, go full Klingon on these people to get his Captain back...

Vidia thought for a moment. "Well," She turned her body as she crossed her arms. "I know Vhat's office has the most fabulous view of everything. Just marvy. It's located in the top of a building near the mountains." Vidia said as she stopped and pointed out in the other direction past some trees. "He does a lot of his business there."
"No need to worry." Vidia told Mishtak reassuringly. "I do know if they are at...what do you call it...um, library? Where you can read and pull up information that is open to regular people, that place is protected. Of course they could be with officials which in that case I can't help you."

"Very well, I wish to visit your Library. I am curious of your peoples history and to learn the causes for this war you are apparently in. Will you take me there, and after perhaps we can contact Mr. Vhat."
He was beginning to get even more suspicious of these people, he did not trust Vhat as far as he could throw him, though he was fairly certain he would be able to throw him a good distance... deep inside the warrior growled in anger as he was being led away from where he wanted to investigate, he needed more security officers and the arrival of the command away team was taking longer than he liked. His instincts told him to bust into Vhat's office, pick him up by the throat and squeeze until answers were delivered satisfactorily, but that was not the way of starfleet, so he remained on his best behavior. He again contacted the bridge:
"Orion, I am headed to a library. I am told it is secured and communications will be negative there, perhaps the Captain is already there. I will update you momentarily."
he then re-tapped his badge:
"Mishtak to Xena, Lt. I would like you to beam down with a small security detail asap, I will fill you in upon your arrival. Mishtak out."
he then turned back to Vidia, he guessed that to some she would be considered attractive and her clothing showed plenty of her to arouse any human male, but his Klingon tendencies were different from that of normal men so her distractions were not as useful against him as they could be, now if she were to start throwing heavy objects at him while growling he might be turned on...

"I don't think you'll find anything pleasing about the war, or much information." Vidia slipped her arms around Mishtak's like before and led him away, in the direction of the library. "You see, our government doesn't want to reveal too much as to cause worry. Besides, violence is something we do our best to shelter the young children from seeing, reading, or hearing. When they come of age they'll be taught in school."
"A security detail?" Vidia said somewhat surprised. "Do you really think that is necessary? Someone could get hurt."
That last note she sounded very positive on.
Not shortly they arrived at the library. It was a tall pink and orange building that, well twisted almost like a winding staircase or the top of an ice cream cone or even fresh cotton candy right from the spinner onto the stick. Two guards stood at the entrance.
