Prelude
La'Mara and Christian are having a little break on the Holodeck, adventuring in Ancient Greece as they agreed in their first chat as Captain and First Officer. While travelling the road, they happen upon a cyclops which first tries to eat them, but is quickly outsmarted by the two into revealing that he is lovesick, carrying them towards the village.
In the meantime on the other Holodeck, Rose Digby is called away from programming her fantasy world by Lisa, who asks her to report to Astrometrics and oversee the scans of a nearby M-class planet for veins of resources. Together with Crewman Vortek, she finds the veins as well as some ruins, reporting her findings to the Bridge.
On the holodeck, La'Mara and Christian are in the middle of a wedding celebration where they try to find out by telling a story what has happened between the bride and the cyclops, whom she presumed dead. It becomes apparent that the cyclops is in fact the good guy in the story: the bride calls off the wedding and states her intention to marry him. Fleeing a salesman, La'Mara and Christian take a swim in the water where, after some fun, they suddenly share a kiss. This embarrasses them both greatly, as it is in direct breach of Starfleet protocols.
Making their way to the Bridge in silence and taking their seats, La'Mara asks for reports while Christian, noticeably uncomfortable, gets her a quick summary that there's 'nothing to add'. They are approaching the planet, and ready to move into synchronous orbit. T'pyla reports that no lifesigns have been found yet.
As the Orion moves into orbit, La'Mara announces her intention to assemble an Away Team as soon as they have attained orbit...
