Negotiation or a Series of demands?

The doors closed after Lydia was somewhat thrown in. At least she was still on her feet. She took a light breath and brushed away a few strands of hair that had fallen loose from her poney tail.

"Alright,why don't we get down to business?"

That didn't exactly sound too much like a suggestion,but not quite a demand either. Lydia just wanted to know right now what was going on. "Are you their leader?"

She had come to a conclusion that he might be seeing how they listened to him.

"You do not need to know who I am, but suffice it to say that I am the authority in this region. Your vessel has been scanned to reveal several dangerous weapons. We came aboard peacefully to inform you of their removal, but it appears as though your crew has decided they want a fight." The alien faced her. "You are aware that we can destroy you at any moment."

Lydia folded her arms. "Peacefully?" She couldn't believe her ears. "Begging you pardon here,but we don't call beaming on board with out an invitation armed with heavy arsenal peaceful. We tend to call that an invasion; a hostile one at that. Especially when the auxiliary power is kicked on. Also when someone no matter who they are says they are taking over the vessel and that we are prisoners,that is somewhat grounds for my crew to want to fight back."

Pausing a moment to think Lydia continued on.

"For future reference a hail would suffice. One last note here; I don't like being threatened and neither does the rest of my crew,and further more I can destroy this ship in a blink of an eye if I have to so you might want to hold off on shoving us around,but since this is supposed to be peaceful why don't you and your...possy leave and we will be on our way."

"This is all stard procedure, Captain, I assure you." He smiled again. "If you hadn't been so troublesome, we may have been gone already." He lifted his arm up to speak into a communication device. "Lock down their engineering room. Send extra warriors down their."

Extra warriors? So,the aliens in engineering were warriors? Now extra ones were being sent down? This sounded more like some sort of plan to Lydia. Something that they were waiting for the right moment to pounce. Perhaps they were responsible after all. She never did get to hear the whole distress call.

"Sounds more like a plan waiting for the perfect target to me." Lydia voiced her opinion strongly. If it was a plan it was rather low...something Ferengi rebels might have planned.
"There is still time for this to be settled peacefully. Call off your attack party,release my vessel,then perhaps less blood will be shed. I can assure you we will fight to the last. There is nothing to be gained by that but much to be lost."

The alien sighed. "I hate to have to do this, but with all this talk it is necessary." He set his rifle for stun and shot the starfleet Captain in the chest.

"Get in here and prepare the trophy." He smiled. Now we, the Hajeem, the last of the Hirogen, will be supreme!

"Wait a minute...hate to do what?" Lydia's eyes widened as the weapon got pointed at her. "I thought you said this was going to be peac-" Before Captain Prince could spit out anymore words she was shot. A stinging sensation spread through out her whole body as she fell limp to the ground. The world around her went black as her eyes closed. She looked dead.

Another alien came in and lifted Captain Prince over his shoulder,carrying her limp body out of the ready room to the cargo bay when a few of their things had been set up. Since they had taken the ship.
