Trishany and the medic finally made it to sickbay with Lt. Mishtak. It was a difficult task, rushing through the corridors. Good thing the medic that assisted Trish in getting Mishtak here was a strong and sturdy male. No one knew how useful they were when transporting a patient to sickbay without using the transporters.
A quick look to an empty biobed by Trish signaled that was the one to place the lieutenant on. So, that's what they did. Thank fully the medic that Lt. Rei had sent along had prepared like instructed.
"Be still."
After Mishtak had been placed on the bed Trishany grabbed a device and placed it just below his collar bone after unzipping the top part of his uniform. She then grabbed the pulmonary scanner and ran it over his chest to aid the lung and rest of the respiratory system.
After five minutes of that treatment Trish pushed the button on the bed that made each side rise up over him so she could continue to heal and get readings at the same time. Hopefully she wouldn't have to transfer any functions to the computer.

Mishtak remained still for most of the procedure, partly because he knew it was needed and partly because he was still dizzy from the blood loss... after a while, once his mind stopped reeling and he felt his strength returning he began trying to sit up, and was unable to do so due to the sides being raised over him... he began pushing them down in order to get free.
"Thank you Doctor, but I am feeling much better now."
he expected the doctor would not let him leave until she was done with his treatments, but he had to prepare for battle with Miklar, and having his opponent find out he had been injured was not something he wanted as it could affect the outcome of the fight... in fact he did not want anyone else knowing about his injuries if it could be avoided...
"And Doctor, I would appreciate it if this incident could remain between us for now."

"Thank you Doctor, but I am feeling much better now."
"You might be feeling it now, but I'm not about to chance anything further happening so you will stay right here." Trish said firmly, yet at the same time soft spoken as she placed her hands on Mishtak's shoulders forcing him to lay back down. "After I finish your treatment, and I run some more scans you are to stay right here." Trishany smiled softly. She leaned in a little closer to whisper; "And that's an order, lieutenant."
Trishany raised the sides back up and continued her work. "You need not worry about me spreading rumors about your accident around. Doctor patient confidentiality is something all crew members receive."
Preparing another hypospray Trish said; "Don't worry. You'll be back on your feet in time for the fight, though personally I don't endorse it, but I understand your need to do this. But after the fight you are to get some serious rest."

growling as he reluctantly lay back down he answered
"I will allow you to continue, and i have a request for you and your staff..."
he waited a moment before continuing
"the captain has ordered the fight will be with safeties on, however we are Klingon warriors and I request the presence of a medical team for both myself and for Commander Miklar, should either of us get carried away."
resting back on the bed as the sides came back up he snorted at them as they returned to their places above him... he hated these beds, they felt far to confining and he would be glad to be out of here... and back into his shirt as he began to feel the sterile cold air that comes with all medical facilities... it was most, uncomfortable to him.

Trishany listened to the request as she programed the correct dosage for the hypospray to administer. The request was a bit of a surprise, however she had planned to be at the match in an 'official capacity' for even with safetys on a blunt weapon of any kind could cause serious damage.
"Your request shall be granted." Trishany replied with a smile. "This will help the alveoli." Trish informed as she administered the medication. She looked down at the readings on the biobed. Things were progressing along quite nicely. "You'll be able to be released shortly. I'm just going to run to the office real quick and then I'll be right back."

he remained in the bio bed, growling with discomfort for a while until he finally fell asleep... it seemed like forever since he had actually slept, and part of him was enjoying it, the part that needed it anyway. He was still plagued by nightmares that he had not had in a very long time, something from his past began haunting him with the arrival of these other Klingons, but he didn't know what it was... light would eventually been shed on the subject, perhaps after or even during his fight... the fight... was it possible that he could be afraid of losing? was he worried how the crew, the command staff and even his subordinates would view him if he lost? Perhaps that was it, too much time among humans had made him softer than he thought possible, he had begun doubting himself and that was something he could not do...
that final thought triggered a response in his subconscious, his arms flailed and connected with the sides of the bio bed, snapping them off and sending them careening to the floor, he woke sweating and disoriented, at seeing the state of the bed he sighed...
"The Doctor and Captain will not be pleased about this..."
he stood up, holding the bed for support as he picked up the parts he knocked off... doing his best to repair them, he was not however trained to repair these and failed miserably...
"Hopefully there is someone on board trained to fix these things..."
he growled as he laid back on the bed, waiting for the doctor to return...

(OOC: Sorry for the wait.)
Upon hearing a rather loud noise Trishany came rushing out from the other side of sickbay. Her eyes widened some at what she saw, but she couldn't really say she was one hundred percent surprised especially since what happened before hand.
"Lieutenant, I knew you didn't like the surgical walls but I didn't think you'd rip them off!" Trishany's words held more a note of concern than anger. She flipped open the medical tricorder and did a quick scan of Lieutenant Mishtak. Nothing too much to be concerned about as his body was responding to the treatment, but his emotional state was something else together.
Trishany flipped the tricorder closed and helped Mishtak over to one of the regular biobeds.
"Please, rest." Trishany let out a sigh. "Is there anything you'd like to talk about? Something you might be concerned about? It wouldn't hurt to get whatever off your chest." Trish glanced at the walls he had pulled down then looked back to the Lt. "Don't worry about the bed. I can call in an engineering team."

Tieing a few loose ends, finishing up some security checks, and making sure the Klingons were where they were supposed to be Xena decided to make her way to sickbay to check up on her superior whom had been wounded earlier. She wasn't the best at making 'house calls', sickbay visits, or putting people at ease. Xena had decided that it would be the right thing to do.
Xena stopped a few feet short of the sickbay doors. The memory of her village and dead family flashed across her mind. Snap out of it. He's not dead, and his injury wasn't your fault. Taking a deep breath she walked through the doors. She quickly took note of the broken surgical bed. "Are you alright, sir?" Xena asked a bit dryly with a nonchalant attitude.
"Didn't know you also worked in decor, and remodeled biobeds." Xena hopped up on the bed across from Lt. Mishtak. "Hiya Doc." She said acknowledging the asst. CMO.

not one to talk openly about his feelings, or much else for that matter, he answered in the most polite way he could manage...
"No Doctor, there is nothing I wish to discuss it's just that... I... have never felt comfortable in hospitals..."
noting Xena's arrival, he turned his attention to her...
"I am fine Lt. the 'remodel' was an accident... how are our guests settling in?"
it was true that he did not like hospitals, he had not have a very pleasant history with them... and as for Xena's visit, it was unexpected, but also nice to see a familiar face stopping in to check on him, it showed him that he had actually made friends since coming on board The Orion, it was nice actually to have actual friends and not just crew members that serve with him... friendships were not common on Klingon vessels... he sat up as much as he could to avoid appearing lazy, there was a slightly painful pinch in his chest as he did so... it was to be expected, the gash was deeper than he wanted to admit and only the doctor knew the exact extent of the damage it had done although Lt. Xena had been there and with her expertise in combat could ascertain the extent of it...

"No Doctor, there is nothing I wish to discuss it's just that... I... have never felt comfortable in hospitals..."
Trish just simply gave a nod. "Well if you ever feel like talking." Her attention was then diverted to a young woman, the same one that called her and the medical team about Mishtak if she wasn't mistaken. Hiya Doc hadn't exactly been a greeting she expected, but Trish let it slide. Not like it had done any harm.
She listened to the two for just a moment before excusing herself. "I'll leave you two be. I've some work to finish up and a repair team to call." Trishany then let the two of them alone.
She walked into the office and tapped her badge. "Doctor Rei to Engineering, please send a repair team to sickbay at your convenience." Trish then went about her business.

Xena gave the asst. CMO a nod as she walked off. She then turned her attention back to Lt. Mishtak. How were their guests settling in? That was not too much of a tough question to answer. Xena placed her hand behind her on the bed so she could lean back some.
"They are I believe finding it difficult to adapt to their temporary home with rules unfamiliar to them, but if you're asking if I had to break a few bones the answer would be not yet."
Xena smiled. "Are you, uh, feeling any better?"
Well, that just felt sufficiently awkward to ask...

"I am feeling fine, the Doctor wishes me to stay and rest to ensure i am fully recovered before I return to duty. I trust you have everything well under control in my absence."
He knew the ships security was in capable hands, and he did enjoy having the company on some level, but it still felt slightly awkward to him, to be socializing with coworkers and not talking about work, and to be visited by a subordinate was never done in the empire, not unless they were delivering a message... this was all new to him, even though his training at the star fleet academy had prepared him for this in theory, living it was much different...
"until the doctor clears me for duty, I would like it if you kept me updated on all current security issues occurring on the ship. and..."
he cleared his throat as if what he was about to say was uncomfortable or even unpleasant...
"... thank you for checking up on me."

"So you're doomed either way when it comes to getting rest. I know I never could rest up in sickbay, it's too...too, well there's no place like home, but I don't think you could rest well in your quarters either since you requested the commander to bunk with you." Xena said with a little nodding of the head as if she were saying 'yup'.
"Well the latest update; Several complaints from both Klingons and Starfleet personnel, I've had all the replicators restricted to producing only clothing, food, and drink which includes no synoholic drinks just to be on the safe side. Almost all armaments have been tested, all are accounted for, the tricoboalt devices have been properly integrated into the ships tactical weaponry system, I've taken the site to site transport systems offline in all quarters that are occupied by our guests." Xena though a little more on the subject.
"Oh, one more thing, after you left the holodeck I reinstalled the safetys on all holodeck programs that belong to you. I hope you aren't angry. Everything else has been filed away in reports which you can access at any time." Xena leaned in a little bit so the doc couldn't hear if she was listing.
"I didn't write up the incident on the holodeck that got you in here as I suspected you might like to keep it private from the rest of the crew, especially the junior security officers."
Xena knew one thing; anyone that was high ranking or head of a department didn't like any injuries to be made public or go on any record. Sometimes it was a pride thing, but most of the time it was about not looking weak in the eyes of the ones you commanded. It wouldn't do well for them to treat you different or loose confidence.
"And...you're welcome."
Xena returned to her regular sitting position.

"yes, apparently I should try and be more comfortable here after all..."
Well the latest update; Several complaints from both Klingons and Starfleet personnel, I've had all the replicators restricted to producing only clothing, food, and drink which includes no synoholic drinks just to be on the safe side. "very good lieutenant" Oh, one more thing, after you left the holodeck I reinstalled the safetys on all holodeck programs that belong to you. I hope you aren't angry. Everything else has been filed away in reports which you can access at any time
"Again thank you Lt. Xena, I trust you can handle everything in my absence."
I didn't write up the incident on the holodeck that got you in here as I suspected you might like to keep it private from the rest of the crew, especially the junior security officers.
"with foresight like that, you will be well on your way to a promotion in no time... I also trust that this will be last we speak of this incident in a public setting..."
And...you're welcome.
"Thank you... I take it the Captain has been updated on the status of our guests as well as the security measures you have taken."
Mishtak shifted on the bed, trying to find a comfy spot, though he knew there were none to be had, but he needed to rest, and just laying there, as uncomfortable as it was, was still more restful than his quarters would be...
