Kamon stretched his arms behind his head and yawned. He drew closer to the Magnolia every second and he most certainly wasnt sure what was going to happen.
Kamon tapped a link over to the other shuttle. "Max, turn the speakers up so everyone can hear." Kamon waited a moment. "Alright here's the plan. We need to get life support back up and running so I want to get several mobile power cells in place to keep that afloat. Next get main and auxiliary power back online. We cant afford to not have both. Afterwards, we'll be able to split up and work on separate systems. Is that clear?" They all nodded their heads.

Kamon finished his little blurb to the teams, when the Captain came over the comm.
"Loud and clear Captain. Good to hear you back on the bridge. What can I do for you?"

Why would a shuttle pick up what a Intrepid class starship could not? Kamon was a bit surprised at the Captain's question. "Nothing out of the ordinary. Sensors are clean to us, Captain."
Kamon waited a moment before speaking again. "Is there anything in particular you would like us to look for?"

//"Scan for anything out of the ordinary. Subspace transmissions, deuterium,a natural or man made gravitational pull, subspace fractures, magnetic wakes, and anything else including any telepathic crew members if you happened to bring any with you."//
Kamon acknowledged Captain Prince and cut the link. Scan for anythingout of the ordinary . . . . yeah, that will be easy. Kamon began to run the scans as ordered. He looked around at his group, searching for a telepath and finding none, opened a channel to Max in the other shuttle.
"Max, did you catch any of that?" He paused for a moment.
Did I catch any of that . . . What was he a hacker? Well, maybe a little. "Yeah. every word," Max replied sarcastically.
Kamon chuckled a bit. "Start scanning for any funny business out in "the void." If you find anything useful, let me know." Kamon stopped for a second. "Actually, strike that. Just call the mothership." Kamon figured it would be better to send it directly to the Captain.
Max returned the laugh. "Will do Lieutenant. Chang out." The shuttle flying in front of Max sped up a little. Now, now. Don't get hasty. Max matched its speed and followed it over to the Magnolia. He let out a sigh and turned to the small task force with him. "Alright, I assume you all heard the plan. We'll be arriving in about three minutes and we need to first get the portable energy up and running. Then we'll move on with our assigned stuff. I'll be going straight to the bridge after we get life support up. Let's do it." Max turned back forward after hearing several sounds of agreement.
Kamon passed through where the outer deflector should have been. As expected, he didn't feel the typical bump as he passed through. The shuttle whined a little bit as he slowed down to entrance velocity. The shuttle made its approach smoothly, but as it entered the shuttle bay it scraped the edge of the shuttle bay doors. "Oops." He chuckled as he heard something over the comm:
"So, uh, i hope your insurance covers that, Lieutenant."
"Be careful with that joke, Max, its an antique." Kamon turned around after setting the shuttle down. Alright, suit up and let's get life support back up and running." The group put their body suits on and opened the shuttle doors. Even through his suit, Kamon felt the air leave the shuttle. He led the task force out into the hangar and met up with Max's crew. "Alright teams, get to it." Kamon watched as the twelve crewmembers left to do their jobs.
Max stayed back for a moment and stood next to Kamon, who was watching the teams go off. "I can't believe we actually fit those people in the shuttles. I mean come on. Fourteen of us?" Max was almost bewildered.
Kamon lip curled a bit. "It's amazing what you can do in crappy times." He watched as the last engineer left and turned to Max. "I take it you'll be on the bridge monitoring things?"
"Yup. Once we get life support back, most things should start coming along quickly." Max made sure his suit was stable.
"Right. I'll start a search to see what I can find." If anything . . . Kamon nodded at Max.
(OOC: The following part was agreed upon by both members.)
Kamon and Max walked out of the hangar and took their separate ways. Max walked to the bridge while Kamon made his way down to the lowest deck. Kamon stopped for a minute and turned back around. "Hey Max. As soon as you have comm, inform the Captain of our progress and make sure to keep continous scans going." Max waved behind him saying he understood. Kamon smiled and turned back around. This is going to be a day from Hades. . .

Max's day had been easy. He reported to a ship that was infested with aliens, he ran and hid for his life, and he went to fix a damaged starship. Yeah, real easy .... he thought to himself as he had to manually open the door to the bridge. He had just crawled through several decks worth of jeffries tubes and corridors. I think I'm going to lodge a protest. The bridge was badly damaged. There was burnt metal littered around everywhere and many of the consoles were destroyed. He stepped up to the OPS console and attached a mobile power cell to it. It sputtered to life and he tried to run a scan of the ship. From what he could tell, everything was dead because he couldn't even scan the bridge itself. He turned the communicator on. "Lieutenant Willsun, just to inform you of something you already know, everything on the ship is off. I can't even scan the bridge. Hang on a second. . . . Chang to the Orion. Come in please." He paused for a second, waiting for a response. "This is Chang, come in please." He paused again. "Lieutenant, we're cut off from the mothership, too. If you would be so kind as to fix that up for me that would be greatly appreciated."

Kamon made his way to the main computer core. It was sputtering which informed him the engineering teams were working on getting the power back online. "I need you guys to work a little faster," he said aloud to no one in particular. He reached in his gearbox to see how many power cells he happened to have with him. Counting four, he placed each of them at different areas of the core. He intended on jump starting the thing to get a little head start.
=/\="Lieutenant Willsun, just to inform you of something you already know, everything on the ship is off. I can't even scan the bridge. Hang on a second.=/\=
Kamon waited for a moment before Max chimed in again. =/\="Lieutenant, we're cut off from the mothership, too. If you would be so kind as to fix that up for me that would be greatly appreciated."=/\=
"Will do Max. While our boys are downstairs working, I'm going to try to jump start the computer core. I assume you already have a power cell placed on OPS console, take it off and put it in the general area of the closest EPS conduit and then place another power cell near the science station's EPS conduit. I'm hoping it will turn it back on. Then when you get comm up, let me know. Willsun out."
Kamon charged the power cells and attempted to turn on the core. His attempt ended in failure. "Willsun to Chang. Nothing doing we're going to have to wait for main powere. . ." just then the core sputtered to life. "Ok then. Well, get those power cells off the conduits. They'll blow up on you. Willsun out."
An engineer reported in, =/\= Lieutenant Willsun, main power is back online. We caught a lucky break down here but with it back on we can stabilize it and keep it. We'll work on life support and then auxiliary power."
"Good work, Ensign. Let me know when I can breathe again. Willsun out." That was a relief. Kamon began to download the computer files that he could access onto the data tri-corder he brought along especially for this job.
(OOC: Max had me insert this so as to not waste another post. Consider everything that follows a JP please.)
Bridge - USS Magnolia
Max began preliminary scans of the ship. He found nothing yet out of the ordinary but there was an interesting power fluctuation near one of the transporter rooms. He turned the communicator back on. "Chang to Willsun. Nothing out of the ordinary so far on scans but I am reading some interesting power fluctuations in the Transporter room that is down the hall from you."
=/\= I'll check it out. Is the comm up yet?=/\=
Max chuckled. "Just about. I'm modifying the last couple of things and we should be good to go."
=/\= All right. Keep at it. Willsun out.=/\=
Thanks Lieutenant. I didn't know that. Max finished up the repairs on the comm.
Transporter room - USS Magnolia
Kamon walked into the transporter room just as the air began to flow again. He took off his suit and breathed in deeply. It was good to feel life support again. He took out his tricorder and began to make some scans. "My god. There's someone in suspension!" Kamon quickly went to the transporter chief's station which was relatively undamaged. He checked the scans to confirm. Sure enough there was something there. He couldn't determine who or what was being held there. He had to take the chance. He drew his phaser and rematerialized one of the creatures. It fell onto the floor of the transporter pad. Kamon was almost in shock. He quickly rematerialized the rest of those in suspension.
=/\=Lieuntent. Comm is back up.=/\=
"Not a moment too soon, Max. You might want to come down here." Kamon retapped his commbadge. "Away team to the Orion. I've found some of the Magnolia's crew."

Kamon was suprised at the Commander's question. He had just answered that. "Um, its the Magnolia's crew. They were in transporter suspension. It may be a good idea if you come over here. I could use an extra team if you can spare one too."

James had just finished transporting over and had sent his away team on their way. James then turned to Kamon and asked "lieutenant, please introduce me to the crew you found and what is the status of the ship?"

Kamon watched as the Commander beamed aboard the Magnolia. "If the ship was any older, I'd say it was a rust bucket. But its repairable. I have Max Chang on the bridge watching over everything." He led the Commander to the Magnolia's crew. "May I present Commander Roark McNabb, Lieutenant Commander Mischa Wilson, and Ensign Joanna Johnson. First Officer, Chief Engineer, and Engineer."
The crew stepped forward. "Thank you for coming Commander. We might not have made it out of here alive."
(tag Mcknight)
Kamon decided it was time for him to get back to work. "Commander, I'll leave you to it. I need to head back to the computer core. Max is on the bridge if you would like to join him."

"Commander, I'll leave you to it. I need to head back to the computer core. Max is on the bridge if you would like to join him."
James answered "I know where to find you if I need you". James watched as Kamon left then turned his head and looked at the first officer and asked "I am sorry for your crew, I'm sure they fought to the end. Now on another note, as this is your ship you have the right to take command or if you don't mind I will take command."
Roark McNabb replied "I know this is my vessel, but as seeing as you are the commanding officer of most of the crew I think you should take command and I'll serve as your first officer." James nodded as a acceptance. He then turned to the chief engineer and the engineer and said "If you guys are up to it, I bet Lt. Willsun could use some help in the repairs."
They nodded and headed to help Kamon. James said "I am going to head up to the bridge, if you would like to accompany me please feel free too." Then both left the transporter room and went to the bridge were Max was currently conducting repairs on the systems.
James looked and asked "what are the status of the bridge systems? And I would like to introduce you to Roark McNabb, our first officer while we are aboard."

Max glided to every station, one at a time, bring each of them online. He started with ops so he could begin scanning the internals of the ship to find out where the damage was. Next was tactical, not exactly a priority, but more of a precautionary measure. Following that was of course helm. Knowing a bit more about it, Max stayed at the helm a bit longer before moving to the Captain's console. He had just got everything back online when Commander Mcnight and another Commander walked in.
"What are the status of the bridge systems? And I would like to introduce you to Roark McNabb, our first officer while we are aboard," the Commander said.
"Sir." Max briefly shook McNabb's hand. "All stations are back up and running but until Kamon can get the computer core back online, we won't have anything."
"I can assist with that," McNabb interjected. "I'll be down that way." He walked off the bridge and towards the computer core.
"Well, that works. I have ops station ready to scan as soon as the computer is back online. Otherwise, we wait. Unless you have a better idea of course."
