The Orion took up their orders from Admiral Lyre, and escorted the Mitalian back to their planet. Since then strange things have been going on. The Orion in orbit of the planet with the vessel Veer has picked up dark matter on their senors and can't get any clear readings on it as it does its little disappearing acts as well.
Captain Prince and Lieutenant Mishtak have beamed down with the supplies. The people were quite welcoming. No straight answers have ever been given, however. When left alone for a few minutes Captain Prince decides to investigate something a little odd in turn causes her to vanish.
Not everything was as it seemed. A fake war, needless deaths, that's all Captain Prince found before she was shot.
Back on the Orion the dark matter friend has reappeared. Something indeed is going on. What more will they find about these shifty characters? What will happen to Captain Prince?
Stay tuned and find out.

Act Two - On board the Orion: Christian Hughes, left in command of the Orion as Captain Prince and Commander McNight lead separate away missions, discovers that Captain Prince is gone, and McNight beams down to go look for her, giving the Bridge to Hughes. Christian then contacts Vhat to ask for his help, in the meantime accidentally overbluffing Vhat's salesman tactics much to the man's unease. Lieutenant Francis congratulates him on this; Christian knows of no bluff from his side, however, and comms the Away Team that Vhat has offered his assistance.
Things are quiet on the Orion, until the dark matter returns. This time, Lisa Huygens uses the ideas offered by Ensign Harper to scan the dark matter and finds that it's a ship they are looking at. Christian calls a briefing with Lieutenant Ackron and Lieutenant Huygens, but in the middle of the meeting, the ship opens fire.
Dashing back to the Bridge, the crew is confronted with another problem: having to maintain sensor power and weapons power at the same time to conduct the battle against an invisible enemy, they'll have to finish this quickly. After a few shots fired in vain at the enemy, Lieutenant Ackron makes another ominous revelation: they have lost helm control.
Commander Hughes orders the helm control re-routed. Will this be in time to save the ship from impact with the dark matter? Will the quantum torpedo end the battle in time? Or will Captain Prince have no ship to return to when she is saved on the planet?
Keep watching for the answers.

Act Three - On the Orion As the battles on planetside continue to turn out in the crew's favour, up in space things aren't going all that well. Christian Hughes, in command of the Orion supported by Lieutenant Ackron, Crewman Chan and Lieutenant Huygens, try to fight the battle as best as they can, and manage to ignite the dark matter by means of a plan cooked up by Lisa and Chan. Sadly, Orion loses tactical. A boarding party led by Crewman Chan boards the ship and averts disaster.
Captain Prince and the away team beam back, minus Commander McNight, who has been lost in action. They find the ship in disarray and the Second Officer passed out from the last impact. As the ship is brought back into working order, Christian wakes up, reports and hears of McNight's death. The implications are clear and the burden of the loss heavy, on all the crew.
Nevertheless, the Orion leaves for the Delta Quadrant.
