So it just occurred to me, how can I expect others to introduce themselves here if I don't even do it myself. A very bad example on my part. Sorry about that all. Well, I decided to fix it and make an introduction thread. I already have a thread in the Ask Away board if any of you would like to ask questions.
But here we go!
My real name is April, but online I'm commonly known as Meg, by most people at least.
I'm 23 years old, and am not looking forward to my b-day on April 12th. I'm also the eldest of two younger siblings, both being sisters.
I've always wanted a brother cuz I figure if I did we would not fight over clothes, hair clips, an all those girly things.
My location happens to be in the United States of America. State of Michigan if you wish to be more precise. I've always wanted to travel the states and see other countries, but life being the way it is let's just say I'm not optimistic about it happening.
I have been to Kentucky cuz I have family down there and I've also been to Indiana for the same reason; family. The only reason I've been in Ohio is cuz ya have to go through the state to get to Kentucky.
We have a TV but not connection or anything. Just the TV, DVD/VCR player to watch our movies and TV shows on that we get from Amazon.com or stores in the mall or other shopping centers.
So I'm a little out of the loop when it comes to current events and new shows/movies.
I really like: Disney (more so the old than new), Star Trek, Law and Order: SVU, Law and Order: CI, I Love Lucy, Bewitched, I dream of Jeannie, The Munsters, Touched By An Angel, Xena: Warrior Princess (though I've only seen season 1 and a bit of season 2 when it was on)...
basically things that are fun and things that get you to think. I can't stand a lot of action unless it has a real good plot line or has anything to do with Greek Mythology as I'm big into that.
Movies that sprang up from Jane Austin books are pretty cool too.
I also like the world of DC and their comics way better than Marvel.
Music is country, oldies rock (50s/60s), Disney. I do like a few pop/rock songs from today, but not many. The only reason I have listened to music I don't like is I thought the lyrics would be good to go with certain music videos.
When I was in high school my favorite subjects were drama and art. Science was pretty cool too. Though I'll admit I didn't graduate from high school. The reason is something very few people know and understand.
I was home schooled a bit before that, and it was dandy...better actually. Despite what people think home-schoolers are not anti social, or don't get enough involvement with other people or are weird. Cuz we get more than enough.
Though I have been accused of being overly sensitive, dramatic, and temperamental. Which I'll admit are true.
Me and numbers and anything math like do not mix very well. I'm more artistic and creative.
I love cats and horses. I'm afraid of birds and of course bugs. I don't care for water very much either as I feel tis icky/germy and always feel like I'm going to drown.
I'm not sure how long I've been role playing, but I'm thankful for spellcheck.
