"Vidia, we will need your help finding a way out, but first there is something else we must do... Sharpay, please take Vidia to the Doctor and have her examined with the children, I shall be there momentarily."
Vidia nodded, and went with Sharpay trying to keep up with the young ensign as she sort of dragged her along by her upper arm. They reached the female healer, and Sharpay had let go of her. Vidia then jumped when she heard the loud bellow. "Guess I'm a little jumpy."
She watched Sharpay as she waited for her turn to have a check up. "What are you doing?" Vidia questioned Ensign Harper. "I thought we are supposed to find a way out."
"His spirit will need time to reachj St-Vo-Kor or wherever his people beleive it will go, I shall keep Ak'voh over his body until we are able to return to the Orion. Vidia, please assist us in finding an exit, preferably one with the least resistance."
Vidia gave Mishtak another kiss when he returned. "I'll try. What is this St-Vo-Kor and Ak'voh?"

Trish finished with the group of children. A few of which she had a bit of a time getting to calm down, she even had to let one of the young children use her tools to scan her first. She didn't really mind and because of what had been going on Trish couldn't very well blame the little ones. "All done. You all just wait right here." Trish told the children gently with a smile.
She looked up at Ensign Harper and the woman she had brought with her. "I see." Trish stood up and began scanning the purple skinned girl. "Well, other than a few shaken up nerves you're alright." Lieutenant Rei reported.

"I'll try. What is this St-Vo-Kor and Ak'voh?"
He looked at Vidia to answer her question, but was caught slightly off guard by the kiss, part of him wanted her to stop that, but another part thought that she was only doing it because of being saved by him and yet another part of him actually enjoyed the attention...
"Sto-Vo-Kor is where my people believe the soul of a warrior goes to when he dies to engage in an eternal battle against great foes. It is guarded by Kahless the Unforgettable, the first Warrior King of my world. Ak'voh is a ritual where a warrior watches over the body of a fallen comrade, to keep away predators, allowing his spirit to reach Sto-Vo-Kor unharmed. Now, enough Klingon lessons for today, do you have an idea on a way out of here?"
He then looked at Sharpay
"Ensign, you don't happen to have any voodoo tricks up your sleeve that might help us out of here quickly by chance?"
Mishtak had become fond of Sharpay on their last mission, and was still looking forward to their holodeck exercise program when they returned to the ship, but now it was time for business and he knew in a business situation such as this Sharpay was one of the few people he wanted by his side. Now if he could just get Vidia to stop trying to fondle him before they escaped, that would be great...
He looked over at the doctor, who seemed to have the children calmed enough to move by now.
" Doctor, please keep an eye on these children until we make it back to the surface, I want to keep them out of harms way as much as possible right now."
He then looked up the shaft they were near and hoped that Sharpay could work her magic and get them out of here soon.

Blah, blah, blah. Just hand over a copy of Klingon history to read; save time and trouble. They didn't have time for lessons, or details. This was not vacation nor history class. Working with a ticking clock was hard enough, which in reality is what they were doing. The end of the little lesson was one of the bright spots. Not that Sharpay, herself was not into learning about Klingon history, but there was a time and a place for everything.
"Ensign, you don't happen to have any voodoo tricks up your sleeve that might help us out of here quickly by chance?"
Sharpay looked a tad surprised. "Not relying on Miss Vidia anymore?" A slip of the tongue. Gah! Not my day today. Shar finished her modifications to her tricorder then stuck the bitty tool back into her hair. "Well, lieutenant, I wouldn't exactly call it voodoo, but I have something in mind." Shar admitted as she did some extensive scanning. "Interesting..."
Sharpay walked forward and looked up the shaft. "I need more light." Looking around she spotted a small pile of rocks. She drew her phaser and shot at them. Not only would it provide a bit more light, but also be a heat source. Putting her phaser away she began scanning again. Hmm.... Shar flipped the lid off one of the containers, stuck her hand in and pulled out an arm. Gross. However she tossed it up the shaft to test her theory.
"When was the last time you saw something that did not hold a shadow?" Shar asked those that were with her. "Last I remember it was something holographic." Putting her tricorder away Sharpay went over to one of the tables and grabbed a rope then looked around the lab for something sharp that could serve as some kind of hook. Eventually she found something. She suspected it to be some sort of medical tool as it was covered in some silver liquid.
She found a way to attach the rope to the sharp object. "I'm going up." Shar stated. "Stand back everyone." She began to swing the rope, then gave it a toss into the cave wall. It dug straight in. "Maybe Vidia can help you while I check this out." Sharpay began climbing up. She had no clue if it would hold or what she would find when she reached the top, but risk was part of the business in Starfleet; so was weird.

Meanwhile in another part of the cave Captain Prince came across what appeared to be an underground launch site of some kind. Well, maybe not just a launch site, but more of a hidden base. Guards were everywhere. How many people were involved in this operation? She didn't know, but obviously it was big and very secretive.
Captain Prince ushered Lieutenant Xena over to a hidden corner. Eventually she saw herself exit one of the buildings. Lydia had to blink a few times. A clone or a person who had been altered? This was way strange.
"You know what you are supposed to do?" A man asked the thing that looked like her. "Yes, I am to contact the Orion crew, let them know all is well, and that the Britannah have moved up their attacks, snatching lots of people on the surface and experimenting on them. Ask for help to destroy the vessels that will be crossing over soon."
The real Lydia's mouth gaped open. "And I thought Ferengi and fishermen were the biggest liars." Captain Prince quietly whispered to Xena. "We need to find a way for me to take that impostors place." After that had been said she saw the rest of the away team, well not the real away team. "Ready to seize the Orion?"
Ah, a slight advantage. When the impostors were sent off to study up Captain Prince and Lieutenant Xena could walk right in. Since they wanted the fake her to make an announcement, well...
"When they leave we walk in. Act like you're one of them."

"Not relying on Miss Vidia anymore?"
"Ensign... "
"Well, lieutenant, I wouldn't exactly call it voodoo, but I have something in mind."
" ... I thought you might..."
"When was the last time you saw something that did not hold a shadow?" Shar asked those that were with her. "Last I remember it was something holographic."
"... So you think we are dealing with some kind of holoimage?"
"I'm going up." Shar stated. "Stand back everyone."
"Ensign Harper..."
Too late, she was already climbing the rope, all he could do now was wait... and hold the rope steady for her. He laid the Commander's body on the ground and grabbed the rope to hold it from swinging wildly, trying to give Sharpay a better chance of climbing, it also put him in a position to catch her should she fall.
"Be careful Ensign." He spoke under his breath, hoping none of the others heard him show concern for her...
"Doctor, are these children Matalian or Britannah?"
he was unsure of the differences between the two races, he had not seen a Matalian child, nor had he seen a Britannah. all he knew was that adult Matalian's had purple skin, and some rather strange clothes... although he noticed for as skimpy as they were Vidia's outfit had weathered the situation well enough by not exposing anything she was not already flaunting at him...
He looked up the length of the rope, hoping Ensign Harper was alright, even though he knew she was fully capable of holding her own... and he's hear her yell for help if she really needed it...

Trish watched as the headstrong Ensign Harper put together a climbing gadget. The just about one sided conversation nearly gave Trish the giggles. Though the arm part sorta creep her out a bit. Who stored body parts? Ick.
Trish did start to giggle a little as Mishtak held the rope as Ensign Harper climbed. It was sort of an odd sight, just a little. Although something was blocking Trishany's telepathy she had a strong feeling that the stubborn, headstrong, impulsive, feisty, and distancing blonde would object to help. Medical files could reveal a lot, and being able to read minds whenever (unless something was blocking) didn't hurt either.
"Doctor, are these children Matalian or Britannah?"
"They're Britannah." Trish answered. "The two do have one similar DNA strand, then again they are related. There is more but," Trish looked to the children then back to Mishtak, and bit her bottom lip. "it will have to wait."

"No problem, Captain." Xena whispered back. She loved a good infiltration mission. At one time Xena had thought about intelligence, but changed her mind. Go in, warn the crew crush everyone like little bugs then hijack a ship. Xena smirked. If only it'd be that easy. Seeing a few depart as well as their doubles, Xena rubbed her hands together eagerly. "Alright, let's go."

As she was climbing the rope Shar felt it go steady. She glanced down and there was Mishtak holding the bottom of the rope. She cleared her throat. "Lieutenant," Shar began taking a breath. "not that I don't appreciate what you are trying to do, don't you think we have more pressing matters than spotting me as if I'm just learning to climb?" Sharpay did her best to not sound irritated and annoyed.
"Three working to find a way out is better than one so why don't you go one way, and Vidia the other. We can give a holler if we find something."
Personally I'd not turn my back on that woman. For all we know this is just a set up and she's supposed to keep us here while everyone else blows things to high heavens!
Sharpay continued to climb up. The task was a little hard, but not new. Coming to the top Sharpay tried to hang on with just one hand as she pulled out an flipped open her tricorder. The rope swong side to side, making Shar feel a tad off balance.
"Like I suspected." She muttered to herself trying to put her tricorder back, but instead it slipped from her hand. "Look out below!" Sharpay shouted.
She then reached one hand up to see if she could find some sort of generator up there. However, she started to loose her grip, and shortly after Sharpay started to plunge to the ground.

"Lieutenant," Shar began taking a breath. "not that I don't appreciate what you are trying to do, don't you think we have more pressing matters than spotting me as if I'm just learning to climb?"
Mishtak shook his head and let go of the rope.
"That woman is damned impossible. I thought only Klingon women could be that insufferable."
"Look out below!
Mishtak looked up in time to see the falling tricorder, and step out of the way as it hit the ground. It was a simple piece of equipment and he himself had one on his belt, so it was no big loss, but as he looked up again, he saw a star fleet uniform careening his way, and the person wearing it was not replaceable in his book. He maneuvered himself under her, arms ready to catch the falling engineer...
he caught her alright, but he was not expecting her to be traveling at the velocity she was, and his miscalculation ended with him on the ground, and Sharpay on top of him, though it seemed she had at least remained uninjured through the ordeal...
"Now then Ensign, I trust you see why splitting up would not be a wise decision?"
he made no attempt to move her, he just waited there for her to move on her own, as he suspected she would since she had her pride to think about, and it seemed to him her pride could rival every Klingon in the Empire...

"Now then Ensign, I trust you see why splitting up would not be a wise decision?"
Sharpay simply rolled her eyes. She was about to get up when something flew threw her mind. Not very nice thing, but it was better than shooting the person, but not by much. Sharpay quickly glanced at Vidia then looked Mishtak in the eyes. She smiled, and then said her piece. "You saved me!" Shar imitated Vidia as she caressed Mishtak's cheek. "You're so brave. Your name will be legendary!" Shar then softly kissed Mishtak on the lips.
She couldn't very well help herself. Maybe it would show Vidia how ridiculous she looked and had acted before. Besides that fact she just sort of felt like ticking the woman off. Sharpay let the kiss linger just a bit before getting to her feet and dusting herself off. She went and picked up her tricorder and put it in its proper place. She then reached out a hand to Mishtak. "You call that a catch? I've seen monkeys do a better job."
"Now pick yourself up, dust yourself off. And start all over again... Shar sung the end in her mind. Yes, "Swing Time" with Fred Astiare and Ginger Rodgers was one of her favorite old Earth musicals. Despite her tough exterior Sharpay did have a soft, feminine side to her, but she never let it show much. Last time she did...well, he already knew most of the story since the first away mission together.
"Let's get moving." Shar paused a minute. "Just so you know, I would have done just fine without your help." Sharpay stated in whisper to Mishtak.

"You saved me!" "You're so brave. Your name will be legendary!"
Vidia's eyes had widened when the ensign fell, but now, well after that statement, and kiss. Vidia's eyes narrowed at the young blonde girl. Alright, she didn't have any real legal claim to the Klingon warrior, but still. She could have at least asked if he was okay! And oh that kiss! How it lingered. Vidia wondered if Mishtak liked it or not. Not that it was really any of her business.
"Lieutenant, are you hurt?" Vidia asked. "Being fallen on along with a collasp can take it's toll." Vidia looked at Ensign Harper. "You appear to be fine. I see the fall has not injured your tongue in either way."
"I think I just remembered a way that might lead us out. There is a little breach, but I'm not sure if it's still there. Ensign Harper, perhaps you'd like to check it out while Mishtak rests." Oh, what an irritating blonde. What can he possibly see in her? In a few minutes that won't be a problem.

This was getting out of hand, he had now been kissed by Vidia and Sharpay and he wasn't entirely sure how he felt about that... While Vidia was attractive in her own way, as a human so was Sharpay. He knew Sharpay had the spirit of a Klingon Warrior, he was not so sure about Vidia... What he knew for certain was that they needed to be separated before they started clawing each others eyes out, because as much as he would want to bet on Sharpay, Vidia's racial differences would give her the advantage... Slowly he stood up, feeling a small bruise in his ego.
"Your welcome Ensign."
He was trying not to think about her kiss, part of him thought it had lingered a bit too long, and part of him thought it was completely inappropriate, and yet another part of him wondered how far from a promotion she was so that they might pursue the kiss farther without being seen as him fraternizing with a subordinate... then there was Vidia, who had as much as told him she was there to distract him, perhaps this was all part of her job that Vhat had hired her for... He had no way to know for sure, but he had to come up with someway to find out...
"I think I just remembered a way that might lead us out. There is a little breach, but I'm not sure if it's still there. Ensign Harper, perhaps you'd like to check it out while Mishtak rests."
"I do not need to rest. Now point me toward this breach and I will take a look while Harper finds a safer way up her rope."
Mishtak realized he was not sure if he could truly trust Vidia at this moment, the fire raging behind the eyes of both women told him he needed to take charge and get them out of there before anything else could go wrong...
"Doctor, please look after the children..."
He found a piece of cloth and placed it over the commander's body.
"... and the commander, please."
He then waited for Vidia to point in the direction of the breach that might allow them to escape. He also kept wondering what her motivation was, now that Vhat had been found out and his brother slain...

"I do not need to rest. Now point me toward this breach and I will take a look while Harper finds a safer way up her rope."
"If you insist," Vidia shot Harper a scathing look. Moving over to a wall she leaned on it, casually as if she were waiting for Shar to climb back up that rope. Moving her hand downwards behind her back Vidia pushed a rock in the way that activated a sensor made to trap anyone lacking Matalian blood. "this way." Vidia said extending a hand forward.
Vidia smirked at Ensign Harper before heading out.

"Safer way up the rope?" Shar folded her arms and raised an eyebrow. "What do you expect me to do; find a pair of anti-gravity boots and fly up while holding the rope? There is only one way to climb a rope. That's up and with hands." Shar stated. She went back to the rope, she put her hands on it ready to climb again, but watched Vidia move and casually lean. Something seemed off about it. Why not just lead the way? Why pause first? Sharpay jumped and began climbing the rope. She was halfway up when a red beam shot out scanning her hand before something cut the rope. Sharpay crashed to the ground with a thud. Looking up she shot Vidia a look that just might burn a hole through a wall. A quick glance to the children Shar saw Trish leading them away. Wonderful. Pushing herself up Shar looked to Vidia. "That was your fault!" Sharpay wiped the blood that was running down the side of her face from a small cut she had gotten just a little above her eye. "Um, sorry." "Sorry?" Sharpay wanted to tackle the woman. Instead she walked up to her, shoulders thrown back. "That is not acceptable. I could have been killed!" Vidia spat in Shar's face. Sharpay looked to the ground and took a step back appearing to submit, however that was not so. She stepped forward, and a very nasty mean right hook was thrown at Vidia knocking her clean across the floor. "PetaQ!" Vidia ran and moved a rock pulling a handle. The floor under Sharpay opened and down she went. She managed to grab the edges. "I knew it." Shar said as Vidia ran. Sharpay looked to Mishtak. "What are you waiting for?!"
