Faith felt a little dazed as she listened to everything, for what seemed like she had before. Almost as if it were a distant dream. Everything was said as she remembered, had it actually happened before.
Faith had taken the ship in per orders. She had been a tad surprised that Captain Prince had not told her what speed to go. Most captains would have despite it being very obvious. Apparently Captain Prince was one of those captains that trusted their crews judgment, which was a good thing and have been known to put some people at ease. Just knowing that your captain trusts you to make the right choice.
That still didn't make the scanning any easier. Though the readings did show that they had started collecting the omicron particles. Then there was the flash of light as the ship lightly shook.
Not a word did Faith make when she came to the bridge. She just simply listened to all the going ons about her. Mostly the questions and answers. Hopefully she hadn't missed anything important. "Well, if anyone is interested I'm not sensing anything out there." Didn't I already say that? Naturally that was not enough to go on. More scans of course. Not surprising. Though Faith was intrigued about going inside, even if it was just a class two. Going places is what she liked to do.
She lightly shook her head to shake the fuzzy foggy feeling away. Faith looked over her shoulder at Mishtak.
"May I take a guess that; Shields are at maximum and holding, hull integrity is at one hundred percent?"

Mishtak was scanning the sensors when a message came in from engineering: Had fun in the holodeck and the party in the mess hall. Looking forward to tonight. Your par'Mach'kai. He didn't think he was expecting it, and yet he had a feeling it was going to be there. Then Faith said something that startled him
"May I take a guess that; Shields are at maximum and holding, hull integrity is at one hundred percent?"
is face turned into a scowl
"Lt. Ackron, it is not polite to read peoples minds without their permission."
That had to be it, there was no other way she could have known what he was about to report to the captain. It had to have been her betazed tricks, either that or there was something funny going on and the chances of the later happening where slim, even if they were in uncharted space...

"It's also not polite to make false accusations!" Faith replied a bit more defensively than she had intended. "While I may at times use my heritage to have some fun, I assure you while I'm on duty I don't use it unless it is necessary, besides, I'm only half Betazed. The only peoples minds I can read are other telepaths, and unless you have been hiding a factor such as that, well..." Faith turned back to her console, and tried to calm down.
Then suddenly she was back again from where she had started.

Lydia looked at her crew. She also could have sworn that she heard Mishtak say what Lt. Ackron had asked him. It was the strangest feeling. Instead of giving out orders again like she was going to she used this time to calm the crew members down. "Take it easy, the both of you. You're Starfleet officers." Lydia flooded her arms. "Obviously something more than meets the eye is going on."
But before Lydia could say another word, she too was back in time with the same strange feeling like she had done this before. It was like she knew what everyone was going to report to her, and it felt stronger than before.
"I think we've been here before."

He was going to ask how she knew what he was going to say if she hadn't read his mind, and he might have actually apologized, but then came that darn flash of light resetting the whole thing...
A crewman stood at tactical trying to make a determination on whether or not traveling into the nebula would be a safe venture. He had a recommendation ready to give when Mishtak entered the bridge. As He approached tactical the Crewman was leaving, Mishtak read the suggestion over the man's shoulder.
"Very good report Crewman, I agree with you. Why don't you relay that to the Captain before you go off duty."
"Yes sir." He said turning to the Captain. "Captain, we do not see any security risks at the moment, but that is not to say they will not appear after the fact."
"I agree Captain... But to be honest, I had a feeling that was going to be the report before I stepped off the turbolift. If I'm wrong I will relieve myself of duty and report to sick bay, but is anyone else here having the feeling that we have done all this before?"
He wanted the Hazard team on duty, but had a feeling that it would not make any difference either way. He wanted all his bases covered and he figured he had them covered now... and had the suspicion he had thought that before...
"Captain, I also believe now would be the time to inform Harper to get ready to collect the particles."
He returned to hi console, with the crewman standing by in case he was the only one losing his mind...
In his mind he attempted to project a thought to Faith, he knew it would only come across as a confused emotion, but he hoped she'd understand that he was conveying a thought about the Captain's orders not including a heading or speed. He was however not telepathic and was unsure of what affect he would have if any on the Helmsman... other than being a slight nuisance...

"Captain, I also believe now would be the time to inform Harper to get ready to collect the particles."
Lydia turned to looked at Mishtak, with a face that showed surprise. "How did you know?" Lydia rubbed the side of her forehead. "It's like we've done this before." She looked around the bridge. "You're going to say that we can't get clear readings," Captain Prince said pointing to Lisa. She then pointed to Faith. "You're going to tell me you aren't sensing any lifeforms, and Lieutenant Mishtak, you want to keep the hazard team informed, and shields are at maximum and holding, right?"
They were missing something, something small.

He knew something was wrong, he still had no idea what was causing it though.
"You're going to tell me you aren't sensing any lifeforms, and Lieutenant Mishtak, you want to keep the hazard team informed, and shields are at maximum and holding, right?"
"Exactly right Captain. Now how do we explain knowing what we're all going to say before we say it?"
Now he was wondering about temporal phenomenons... But wasn't it tacyon particles that increased temporal distortion? He couldn't remember now. It had been a while since he had studied that stuff.
"Do we have a temporal expert on board Captain?"
It was a long shot, but perhaps she knew someone on the ship that enjoyed studying temporal things in their off time, he had not had the chance to talk to the entire crew yet, so he had no idea if there was anyone like that on the ship or not. Perhaps there was even a civilian with that knowledge that they might overlook.
"We don't even know what is causing it..."
He had adjusted his scanners but was not picking up any tacyons nor was he able to discover any temporal rifts. The plot thickens as they say...

"Lieutenant Ackron, get us out, Lieutenant Mishtak, scan for odd anomalies."
A temporal anomalies expert on board. Good thought. Lydia quickly ran through the files of her crew. A bit difficult when pressed for time as things were bound to reset, and they'd all go back to the beginning once more.
A swift tap of her combadge. "Bridge to Ensign Harper, it seems we might be experiencing a temporal phenomenon. I want you to help us find a way out. Lieutenant Huygens will assist you. Prince out."
Lydia look to Lisa with that 'better get a move on' look.

As the scene unfolded, Lisa looked on in a sense of wonder. This wasn't exactly like deja vu... it seemed like something else entirely. A while earlier, Captain Prince had told her what she was going to say. "No," she said, instinctively denying, then after a few moments she added, as she realised it was true, slightly embarrassed: "yes."
Lisa looked over to Christian. Poor Christian... she thought. He doesn't seem to be making sense of this at all...
Then the crew had figured out what to do, and Lisa was ordered to go to Engineering to assist Ensign Harper. "I'm on my way, ma'am," she said. "If I don't return, don't worry, I'll be back here at the next instance of the loop."
And with those words, she entered the turbolift.
End Lisa - Move to Engineering

"Lieutenant Ackron, get us out, Lieutenant Mishtak, scan for odd anomalies."
"Captain, I do not believe our sensors are capable of determining any 'odd anomalies' that are capable of causing this situation at the present. It feels as if we have done all of this before and that would suggest that nothing we have done until now has been of any use. Perhaps we need a modification that we have not thought up yet, and if that is the case it is likely we will revert back in time before we can solve this."
"Bridge to Ensign Harper, it seems we might be experiencing a temporal phenomenon. I want you to help us find a way out. Lieutenant Huygens will assist you. Prince out."
He hoped that Lisa and Shar could figure something out before they looped back again and had to do it all over once more... He then found himself wondering how many times he had said what he had just said and wondered if it would really make any difference in the long run. What if they were stuck here forever, how long had they been stuck here to begin with, what was happening in the rest of the galaxy while they were trapped. If they were in this loop for years there was no way for them to know it and the federation could quite possibly have written them off as a lost voyage, held funerals for the crew and moved on... what of the families of the crew> Would they have written of their loved ones as being lost and moved on with their lives? He forced these thoughts from his head, but any mind reader could pick up on them easily enough. He forced himself to return to his sensor sweeps, he attempted to adjust for temporal variances. He remembered studying some mission logs from other vessels such as the Enterprise and others that had come in contact with temporal disturbances. As he pulled this info from his memory he also pulled up some of star fleet's records on the subject and began cross referencing the occurrences and adjusting his sensors accordingly... 'Now we wait and see what comes out from under the rocks as we kick them.' he thought.

"Your opinion is noted." Lydia hadn't meant to sound harsh. But right now she was really concerned about her crew and ship. They were in a mess, and needed to figure a way out. She would not have the lives on this ship keep reliving the same moments over and over again. Hopefully Lisa and Sharpay could get a move on with a theory before they jumped again. "What was the time when we encountered this nebula?"

"Your opinion is noted."
Though you'll be forgetting it shortly I presume...
"What was the time when we encountered this nebula?"
He checked the logs and hoped they were right...
"We entered the nebula at fourteen hundred hours captain, but we do not yet know how long we have until we go back to that time again."
...and as far as he knew they had no real way of tracking how long they had, it was the one thing no one seemed to be able to remember...
as he was thinking of a way to determine how long they had during this loop there was a flash of light throughout everywhere and it became a moot point...
A crewman stood at tactical trying to make a determination on whether or not traveling into the nebula would be a safe venture. He had a recommendation ready to give when Mishtak entered the bridge. As He approached tactical the Crewman was leaving, Mishtak read the suggestion over the man's shoulder.

"We entered the nebula at fourteen hundred hours captain, but we do not yet know how long we have until we go back to that time again."
"Well, at least we have a focal point." Looking on the positive side was a must do. "Maybe we can prevent ourselves from going in. At the moment though, we'll wait to hear from engineering." Though formulating a back up never hurt anyone.
Then it seemed to happen again, only differently.
"Captain, I also believe now would be the time to inform Harper to get ready to collect the particles."
"No. She or we know what we have to do. We're going to get out of here," Lydia looked at the viewscreen. Something tells me it might be a hard way.
