"I shall think of something difficult for you two. I've been in the Space Scouts, I've got an elder sister, and I wear glasses because I like them."
She had to think hard for a moment, she had read his security file and it mentioned a sister,at least she was pretty sure that it did. It did not include anything about space scouts though and the information about his glasses would be in his medical file which she had not seen, besides there were many surgeries and things to correct vision making glasses obsolete so he probably did wear them because he liked them...
"I think the space scouts is the lie."

"Faith wins," said Christian, pleased that he had been able to confound Chan. "I've been in the Space Scouts. It's the way I entered the academy. But then, you..."
Before he could finish his sentence, the Captain came in over the comm. //"Tiho to Orion, all is well down here. Stand by to transport." "Acknowledge, Captain," he said, then turned to Harold. "Is the Transporter Room standing by?" "Aye, sir," said Lieutenant Francis.
"Beam us up."// He gave a nod to Harold. They were beamed safely aboard.
"No difficult guess, but I guess our game is interrupted," he said to Chan and Faith with a smile.

"Faith wins,"
"Whoo! Ma ma needs a new pair of..." Faith paused a moment. "well I don't know yet. I'll get back to you."
Just then the comm came through. It was the captain. Looked like they were leaving. Blast it all! Faith swivled her chair to face the controls again. Be at the ready. Any minute they'd come barging onto the bridge; Larkin asking for an update, and the captain spouting out orders. One update is I won one round...sort of...
"No difficult guess, but I guess our game is interrupted,"
"Typical sir, as it was my turn too. Maybe we can continue whenever we're all on brake."

"Typical sir, as it was my turn too. Maybe we can continue whenever we're all on brake."
"I think that'd be a wise idea." La'Mara said with a smile as she walked down the steps to get to her chair. The away team had been beamed aboard with no problems what so ever. La'Mara looked at the bridge crew then at Christian. "Any problems to speak of while we were down there?" La'Mara didn't suspect there were any problems, and if there had been she had a feeling that they would have been told to her right off, but it was standard to ask.

Christian was taken aback by the Captain's fast return. "Welcome back, Captain," he said, trying to hide the embarrassment of being caught playing games on-duty. "Except for a guessing game, nothing of note happened." He grinned at the Captain.

"A guessing game?" La'Mara was slightly intrigued. "Who won? Or did I come back too soon?" She sat in her chair with a smile. Personally she guessed that she might have come back too soon. Captains were sometimes kill joys, so she'd not be surprised. La'Mara crossed her legs as she looked at the panel between the chairs. Captain perogative.
"As far as reports, we made our first friends in the Delta Quadrant." Good news on that front. "And I wouldn't worry about the game," La'Mara raised a finger. "this time. Back when I was a commander," which was not too long ago "I played jacks with a child named Sandy, while on duty."

Larkin Stepped onto the bridge have been beamed up from the Rathr and stopped by the armory to deposit his Phasor. He straightened out his uniform and made his way over to the Helm station. He looked at Faith and placed a friendly hand on her shoulder.
"You missed it missy, it was a front, but I smiled. Looks like its back to duty though I go. Miss Ackron you now stand relieved. Their sweat is fragrant, not odorous, fragrant. It was rather odd actually." He said jokingly, he did not smile per say maybe kinda smirked a little but his eyes looked less sad than they have been in over year.

"With all due respect captain, you came back too soon." Faith replied half jokingly. At least the captain didn't seem upset. Why she even told a tale about her playing jacks with a little girl while on duty. How in the world did she swing that? I wonder if she'd like P!NK...
And then oh! Familiar set of foot steps followed by voice and touch!
"Odd you say?" Faith lightly smirked. "Guess you were in good company." Faith joked lightly with Larkin as she stood up. "And I stand relieved." Faith, on her way out gave a nod to the rest of the bridge crew. Then she was gone via turbolift.

Larkin watched her go and sat in his chair. He hoped that he would get some time away and unwind soon. He had yet to be to the mess hall. He wanted a break, it was not needed but he still felt so full of adrenaline. He awaited for his next orders from the Captain though slowly he began to take the ship out of Rathr's orbit and fly away at half impulse. He Figured that was the best he could do until further orders were given.

Well, with all said; or hoped all had been said, La'Mara leaned back in her chair. This had been an eventful day. Something defiantly to stick in the log books. It was time to get going. New things awaited, but so did their mission, and home. So, after a bit La'Mara looked at Lt. Commander Reinhardt, and said; "Take us out of orbit," She then added in some immortal last words; "and set a course...for home."

Chris recognised the words immediately. They had been Admiral Janeway's. He looked at La'Mara and smiled. You are beginning to grow into Janeway 2.0., he thought. With your own style, that is. I'm looking forward to working with you. "Home sounds good," he said, still looking at the Captain.
He looked back at Commander Reinhardt. "Engage," he ordered, still smiling.

"Take us out of orbit and set a course...for home."
"Aye Captain." Larkin began to work his brilliance and took the ship out of orbit. He thought back, to reading some of the Voyagers records and thought that what sounded like what the then Captain Janeway had said. He nodded and took the ship at away at full impulse, readying for warp.
"Engage."
Needing no further persuasion he plotted a course for the Sol System in the Alpha Quadrant and made it so. It was incredible how his hands danced over the console it was closer to art than it was magic. He swiveled around in his chair and faced well, everyone else. A smile played on his face from ear to ear, what was even more profound it looked genuine.
"We're going home, now the greatest adventure of all is now to begin. The voyage home. a ship of travelers far from home, venture fourth to explore to roam. Orion in warp ever fleeting, excitement still there from our recent meeting. Around every star danger doth lurk, meeting new races is a wonderful perk. The Orion travels homeward bound, never ceasing till at last our home is.....found." Larkin said clearing his throat with a light blush on his cheeks.
END:Larkin if plausible.

Mishtak arrived on the bridge as Faith was leaving,he had needed to stop by the armory and return his gear before returning to duty. He heard the end of the captain's orders to set a course for home, there was something familiar about the words, he had read them in Voyager's records...
The Orion travels homeward bound, never ceasing till at last our home is.....found."
He stopped to listen to Larkin's words and in his mind played them with a ancient Klingon Opera song, they fit nicely, even if they weren't sung in Klingon...
As he approached his station he saw Crewman Chan standing by, waiting to be relieved...
"Chan, you stand relieved..."
And before she could leave he continued, softly so as not to disturb the rest of the crew
"...Stand fast, you are relieved of responsibility for the post, but not from the post itself."
It was his way of acknowledging that he would be needing her here shortly, he had the feeling that the Captain and Christian would need to leave the bridge to discuss the apparent success of their meeting and he knew if that were to happen he would need to recall her. It was easier for her to just stand by for the time being...
He checked the logs, nothing unusual on the scanners or sensors... Then he ran through the security logs, to keep himself up to par on everything, with his authorizations he could see all the reports as well as who else was in the system and reading or filing reports. He saw Lt.Xena was logged in and also reading reports, he pulled a copy of the files he had been reading and frowned when he saw it, someone was tampering with the gravity in the shuttle bay, his first suspicion was that Sharpay was working on a project that she had forgotten to tell him about when he saw the report about Romilly from Suroc... Interesting... He then saw Xena had forwarded a copy of the reports to Engineering. He ran a quick comms check and learned Xena had contacted Sharpay to investigate, looks like everything was being handled properly on that end... He looked at Chan, thought about leaving her at tactical to investigate himself then thought of sending her and finally decided to wait and see by keeping an eye on the reports, after all his assistant chief was top notch and knew how to handle these situations, he trusted her to take care of things, even if he would be watching from afar... It was his job description to know everything about everything in order to keep the crew safe and secure...

Chan remained silent when the Captain arrived, and stayed that way until Lt.Mishtak strode over to her.
"Chan, you stand relieved..."
She turned and was about to return to the security office to do something else when...
...Stand fast, you are relieved of responsibility for the post, but not from the post itself.""
"Aye sir." Was all she said, and stood off to the side, waiting for further orders. Peering over Mishtak's shoulders she saw the reports he was reading and wondered if this was why he had wanted her to remain. Was he going to leave her on duty to investigate something or was he going to be sending her, he did neither, he simply read the reports, followed up with an additional log check and went back to standard duty. Her guess was this was some sort of test, either that or he had heard that she was involved in playing games on duty and this was her punishment for doing so, although that didn't make sense because they were encouraged by Commander Hughes. It was very confusing for her, she had no clue what was going on now and it seemed as though Mishtak was not going to tell her anytime soon...
